The kids and Moms doing one of the party crafts.... the Dads sitting at the far off table, solving the Worlds problems:). Though, both Dads later assisted with the craft...and interestingly, Matt had less questions than I did- he was a natural:) |
Tis’ the
Season for Birthday Parties!! Since Elle
started school in August, it seems like almost every weekend we have a birthday
party. It is a good thing that Elle and
Britta love to party:). Though this
weekend, the birthday girl was a very special friend of ours. On Saturday, we traveled to our dear friends,
the Rourkes, to spend the day and evening.
Atdalyn and Nicole share the same birthday, October 27th, so
in the morning we celebrated Atdalyn’s birthday and in the evening, we
celebrated Nicole’s birthday. So once
again, it was fun for the children AND fun for the adults. In between parties, Atdalyn, Calahan and Elle
played, Britta napped, the Dads watched college football via Slingbox (Matt
even got to watch the Cyclone LIVE) and the Moms shopped at the nearby Style
Outlets- EVERYONE was happy doing what they enjoy:)!!! We leave on November 20th for the
States, and between now and then we have three more birthday parties (oh, and
Elle had to miss a classmates birthday party on Sunday). So again, it is a good thing our entire
family always enjoys a good party!!!

Before we left on Sunday, the kids made a "Cruise Ship" on Shane and Nicole's bed; it was very cute to hear what their cruise ship had to offer:)!! |
