Our Expat Adventure

In May 2011, our family of four moved to Mannheim, Germany for an unforgettable expat assignment. Living abroad came with its challenges—adjusting to a new culture, language, and way of life—but it also gave us memories to last a lifetime and brought us closer together. Looking back, the only thing that could’ve made it even more meaningful would’ve been having Ava with us, but the Lord blessed us with her after we returned home in April 2013. Prost to the journey!

Getting Back into the Swing of Things...

Though we miss our family and friends in the USA, it has been nice getting back into our normal routine. Last night, the girls were actually in bed by 8:30PM and not 11:00PM--thus allowing Mommy and Daddy some uninterrupted time to get caught up on some things. This morning, we enjoyed a reunion with our dearest friends at one of the girls favorite spots, JumpInn. There was a lot of jumping on the trampolines, flying down the various slides, drinking rainbow slushes and handing out of hugs!! Everyone had a good time!
