Springtime Fun!!

Finally, we have had some sunny days and luckily, they have often occurred on a German holiday thus allowing us to be with our closest friends!!  We have also made it to a few of our favorite local parks.  We have had a nice spring in Germany…and in just TWO days, we will be flying across the pond to start our “Summer in Iowa!!”  We are looking forward to some hot Iowa weather (Thursday it is suppose to be 90 degrees) for the swimming pool and lots of outdoor fun at Papa Donavon and Nana Becky’s House (though Mommy is looking forward to Papa and Nana's central air conditioning too:)!  We are so excited to see our family and friends in the USA!!!

The HUGE playground located at PHV.  Elle has drooled over this playground forever; she was finally able to get to play on it, thanks to our dear friends with “American perks!!”

The girls were asked to participate in a military commercial the next week, discussing some of the programing available on base (i.e. Messy Tots).  Elle loved getting messy two weeks in a row!  Unfortunately, Britta was feeling ill so had to stay home with Marie.
