A Britta Moment:)

Britta and I were walking back to the car from dropping Elle off at KiGa.  Britta was holding her Dora umbrella and singing "down on Grandpa's Farm" (so yes, LITERALLY singing in the rain:).  A man walking alongside us started talking to me.  Now, I am assuming he was talking about how cute/funny Britta was holding her umbrella and singing in the rain because he kept pointing to Britta, laughing and smiling while talking to me.  I just kept nodding my head and pleasantly saying, “ja, ja, ja.”

*Britta, “What’s that boy talking about Mom?”
*Kristina, “I do not know.”
*Britta, “Just tell me.”
*Kristina, “Seriously Britta, I do not know…he was talking German.”
*Britta, “oh…I see…”

Sometimes, I just have to shake my head and laugh after having these “conversations” with my almost 2-year old.  It was so funny to me how after I told her that I honestly did not know what he was saying because he was talking German that she accepted this and did not ask another question… for at least 5-minutes:).
