Mediterranean Vacation: Duborvnik, Croatia

 SUNDAY, May 20th
Around 2:30PM, we arrived in Duborvnik, Croatia.   The adults decided to explore Dubrovnik (the kids explored Kids Club:) since we knew we would be climbing and exploring the steep medieval double walls and fortifications of the old town.  The old town had a very uniformed look, a look that was unlike any other city we had visited before.  Historic buildings included a 15th-century rector’s palace (that we could also view when arriving to the Port), two monasteries, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches.  The old town was completely pedestrianized, thus, making it very charming and quaint.  It was definitely one of my top 5 favorite cities.
