The Leifkers visit Germany

Last Saturday, our friends the Leifkers, came to visit us from the Quad Cities.  Jeremy and Matt were on territory together way back in 2005-2007.  Jeremy and Shane were on territory together before that.  Thus, we all know each other and were able to have a lot of fun together across the pond!!  Unfortunately for us, Maggie (4) and Will (7) did not accompany their Mommy and Daddy to Europe; fortunately for Jeremy and Erin, they had some “Mommy and Daddy” time together.   

Saturday we explored Heidelberg and on Sunday, we explored Schwetzingen.  Then, after the Rourkes headed back to Zweibrucken we walked around Speyer.  On Monday, we enjoyed Ladenburg and later, the ladies shopped downtown Heidelberg while Jeremy and Matt enjoyed spending time at the John Deere European Office.  Then on Tuesday, we said good-bye to our friends.  Jeremy and Erin were going to do some sightseeing on their own and then on Wednesday, head to the Rourkes for some time touring France.  They plan to head back to the USA on Friday!

Thanks for visiting us Jeremy and Erin; it was great seeing you guys!  We are looking forward to spending more time with you, once we move back to the USA!!
