Sitting in O'Hare...waiting to Board, as Elle says, the "Big Plane!!"

Matt hauling 300 pounds (and 2 car seats) worth of luggage

Sitting in O’Hare International Airport…when we arrive in our new Country, our bodies will think it is 2:30AM and Frankfurt’s time is going to be 9:30AM… so, the challenge will be getting our bodies and the girls’ bodies adjusted to the time change.  We are thinking we will let them continue to sleep during the morning hours but then “try” and avoid any nap…just an early bedtime!

We will have a driver waiting for us at the Frankfurt Airport...since we have 6 large suitcases (totally 300 pounds), a double-stroller, 2 car seats, and 3 carry-on bags.  Everyone should know the Tripp Family cannot travel light (especially with 3 girls!!).  Then, we are off to our new home…I am so excited to hear what the girls have to say re: their new house and new rooms.  Thanks to Daddy, they have a new contemporary pretend kitchen waiting for them in the living room…so this alone will make them feel that Germany is not going to be all that bad!!  I will Blog as soon as we get to our  new home!!!

The girls watch as our plane arrives for boarding
Elle loved looking at the plane...and wondered how we were going to get on!
